Here’s this week’s Wednesday Story:

Ball Pitt - a short story by Patrick S. Stemp and Anita Soelver

Ball Pit

The ball pit
At the pizza joint
Is where we hide
When it’s time to go home
They’ll never find us in here!

Written by Patrick S. Stemp

Patrick's thoughts

They really should make these for adults, too. The balls are too small – they get crushed under the weight of a parent.

10X the balls, and the pit, and we can hide from our kids. Get a bit of a break. Let them wonder where we’ve run off to for once.

Anita's thoughts

I can’t even remember ball pits from my childhood, but I certainly remember trying to get my kids out of there, when we have dined out. I’m sure they’d loved it if their whole rooms have been one big ball pit. And think of all the mess you could hide underneath. Ha!
